1979 Chinook Concourse

1979 Chinook Concourse Here is a nice Chinook Camper. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This Chinook is a good runner. It has the 5.8L 351 Windsor engine in it. The truck is a little cold blooded but it seems to run strong and sounds good. I like driving these because you don't feel like you are in a big huge RV you feel like you are just driving a big truck. It drives down the road nicely. I believe that this RV has had only 2 Owners in its past. The miles show 33K and the have rolled over once. I talked to the previous owner and she is a very nice old lady that drove this RV all over to Canada and Mexico. Under the hood and under carriage and nice and clean. Make sure to watch the video I do a complete walkaround inside and out and even take in on a test drive for you. I talked to the previous owner and she is an 86 year old lady that told me all about this truck. She was the second owner and used this Camper to travel all over the place. She also was very good at keeping receipts on everything that she has done to the truck. All the services and repairs. The stack of papers is huge and would take forever to go through them all. Also has all of the original books and manuals. The exterior of this Chinook is straight but does have some rust issues. The paint is in good condition and has a nice shine to it. The decals are slightly faded as you can see. The rust issues is on the cab part where you can see on the hood, around the windows, and lower parts of the doors. It really is a shame because the rest of this camper is pretty clean. I wish I had the time to fix it up right because it really deserves it but I just don't have the time and need to get rid of some stuff. So my loss is your gain. It has the factory steel wheels that are painted to match the truck and has a really nice set of tires that have a lot of tread left on them. Options: Automatic Transmission 5.8L 351 Windsor 4 Doors Roof Mounted A/C Refrigerator 4 Burner Stove Sleeps 4 Bathroom with Shower The interior is really in good condition on this truck. It has the two captains chairs up front that show very little wear and are in good condition. It has all of the original carpet that is in the same good condition but does have some stains. It does have a couch, dining table, and a bed mounted above the cab. So it sleeps 4-5 I believe. It has a nice refrigerator that doesn't have any bad smells are anything. It has a nice 4 Burner Stove and Sink. The bathroom is a toilet and shower all in one and is clean. It does have the roof mounted A/C unit. The back door comes in really handy so you have more then one way to get in and out. This is just a nice camper that needs some work and you will have yourself a very nice RV.
