1958 Mercedes-Benz 190-Class

1958 Mercedes Benz 219 This is a classic project car that is rare and you don't see everyday. This car is a straight complete project car that just needs some work. It has the 6cyl. engine that does not run and a 4-Speed Manual Transmission with the shifter on the steering column. It didn't run when I got it and I haven't had time to work on it so I'm not sure what is wrong with the car. It has also been sitting awhile so probably would have to change the gas as well. These are great cars when they are fixed up. They are rare and people love them. The car is all around clean and is the perfect car to start your project with. The exterior of this car is in need of some attention. It doesn't have any paint left and is basically is primer stage. Altough the body is very straight on this car and the worst part is on the trunk lid where you can see there is surface rust and needs to be repaired. Other then that there is very little else to worry about on the body. The chrome has slight surface rust and would shine up nicely. Has the factory wheels that are just missing the center cap that snaps over them. The tires are not great but do hold air. Options: Manual Transmission 6cyl. Engine Current Mileage: 81,752 (5-Digit Odometer Exempt) The interior is in need of restoration. Everything is there is just needs some work. It has the vinyl seats and as you can see the drivers seat in basically down to the springs and needs to be replaced. The passenger seat has some rips and should probably be fixed as well. The back seats do have some stains on them but don't have any rips or tears anywhere. It has the rubber flooring and it is old and coming apart. It has the real wood on the dash that is weathered but all intact and the headliner is missing. The inside of this car is complete it just needs to be restored. This car is just a rare classic car that needs someone who will go through it and restore it the right way and have a heck of a car when they are done. There is some surface rust. Bumpers have surface rust. The two front seats needs to be fixed. The flooring is falling apart. The wood on dash is weathered. The car does not run. Has been sitting a long time not sure whats wrong with it. Car does not have a title, just a bill of sale, buyer is responsible to get a title. Everything is pictured.
