1965 Pontiac GTO Here is a very nice and rare 65 GTO Convertible with the 389 Tri-Power. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This is one of my personal collections and I have had it for a long time and hate to sell it but I think it's time. This 65 GTO is awesome and I just love it. It has the 6.5L 389 and it runs great. It came with the Tri-Power Carb set up and although I like it it is near impossible to keep adjusted right so I put a nice Holley 4 Barrel Carb on it and now you don't have to worry about adjusting you just hop in and drive. The tri-power carb will come with the car. The car is going to need a little bit of work before it is road worthy because it has been sitting awhile. Brakes, fluids, new gas just stuff like that and since it has been sitting awhile may need a tune up at some point or adjustment. The exterior of this car is beautiful. I had it painted about 17 years ago and it has been sitting ever since. It does have a nice shine to it still but does have a couple spots where the clear coat is peeling and the paint has chipped. Other then that the car looks great. I also had a new convertible top put on it but that also has been sitting and has two spots that need to be repaired and the back window is a little foggy. The body is very straight and rust free on this car. It has the baby moon wheels which I really like the look of and I think they look great on the car. The wheels although were very nice when I bought them are about 17 years old and are dry rot in spots but still hold air. Options: 4-Speed Manual Transmission Hurst Shifter 6.5L 389 Tri-Power Convertible AM/FM The interior is clean on this car and I never had to do much to it. Everything is original except for the carpet that I had replaced. The original seats are in really good condition. The front seats do have a couple cracks in them but they were original and I didn't want to tear into this car. The back seats look great and don't look like they ever got sat in much. I replaced the carpet and it looks good it just needs to be pulled tight in a couple places. Everything else is all original. It had some cool options and was loaded for back in the day. This is just a sweet car that needs a little TLC. This car is just a rare beauty that you won't find another one of. I have had this car for many years and it is hard for me to part ways with.
