Description

1971 Yamaha CT1 Here is a very cool 71 Yamaha CT1 Dirt/Enduro Bike that was used by the Forest Service. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This bike runs good. It is a little cold blooded but once it's started it's fine. It has the 175cc engine. It was designed to be used by the Forest Service I was told and that's why it has the awkward looking heat reducing exhaust pipe so no accidental fires got started. It has a wierd set up where there is two spark plugs on the engine but there is only a single spark plug wire set up. likely a different coil now or just missing a wire. a little TLC and youve go a classic bike that will only go up in value. Has a very OK set of tires on it that has most of the tread life left with a little dry rot. This bike has been well taken care of over the years and is not all beat up or abused like a lot of bikes you see. The bike has been painted a forest green and has the G.I. Joe Star stickers on this sides of the gas tank. The black seat is in really good condition and doesn't have any rips or tears. Actually had a seat cover on it when I got it but I think the bike looks better and contrasts better with the original black seat showing. There is a couple of holes in the back fender where the tailight is missing. Has the one headlight mounted on the front. I haven't got to really ride the bike a whole lot maybe 5 mins around the parking lot at night...;-) but with it being in this good of shape and the shocks being in good condition I'm sure this is a very nice riding bike. Would make a nice bike to add to a collection or go riding in the mountains on or just cruise around town. Check out the video I even take it on a test ride for you. I took pictures of every detail of this bike so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. If there is any other questions or any other pictures you would like please let us know. Call anytime with questions…. Nathan 406-544-6919
