1979 California Daytona Spyder Here is a beautiful California Daytona Spyder Factory Built on a 1979 Corvette Chassis. It is a one owner and it took about 4 years from the time he order it to get everything completed on it. It is #79 0f 79 Built. Pretty cool to have the last one off the assembly line…;-) The Original spent over $30K on this car and order it with every possible option that he could. This car was his baby as you will see. It has spent all of its life in the garage. With Only 5,800 Original Miles on it from when the car was redone back in 1996. This is the car that was designed for Miami Vice TV Show and boy did it cause a lot of controversy when it came out. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This car runs great runs great and is so much fun to cruise around it with the Top down. The previous owned was my jeweler that custom made my Gold rings. He passed away about a year ago. His wife caled me up and asked if I could help here sell his cars. He was a very meticulous man that always made sure that everything was fixed properly and taken care of right away. The exterior of this car is beautiful.The Ferrari Red Paint is in great condition. There are a couple of little chips/scuff marks from driving it. All of the Chrome Trim and Exhaust Tips shine like there is no tomorrow. The Convertible Top is in Great Shape and does not leak or anything like that. It has Eagle ZR50 Goodyear Tires with about 50% or so tread left. The back wheels are staggered a little compared to the front wheels. Options: Factory Build 383 Stroker Engine 4 Speed 700R4 Automatic Transmission Leather Factory AC Carbon Fiber Back Springs After Market Tape Deck Pioneer 6X9 Four Way Speakers McBurnie Wheels, The interior he had Custom Made for him. The Black Leather Seats are just about as comfortable as you can get and feel like they just kinda snuggle you right in for a nice and comfortable ride. There are no holes, rips or tears that I could find in the car. It has VDO Gauses that all function properly. It has an After Market Tape Deck and Pioneer 6X9 Speakers in the back. This car is just a rare beauty that you won't find another one of. I have owned a few of these obver the years and this is probably the nicest one I have seen...;-) I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting.
