1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief Here is a very nice 79 Jeep Cherokee Chief. This is a rare edition that they only made a few of and to find one this clean is cool. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This Jeep runs great. It is a little cold blooded at the start but once it warms up it runs like a champ. It has the full time AWD Quadratrac option that has the switch in the glove box for emergency 4x4 used and the switch under the front of the drivers seat that switches the transfer case from high to low gear. Very cool option on these. These are made to go anywhere. Very clean under the hood and underneath. Has the 360 engine which puts out plenty of power for these trucks and makes them fun to drive. The exterior of this Jeep is in very good condition. It is a gold metallic color that has really held it's shine over the years. It has the Southwestern Design decals going down the side all the way around. The decals are cracked a little but still look great and are smooth to the touch. I'm not sure if they are factory but it has a very nice set of Polished Aluminum wheels that shined up real nice. Has an almost brand new set of of Pirelli Scorpion Tires that have easily 90% tread left and still have the titties on the side. The interior is in very good condition. I had the carpets and the headliner replaced. I just couldn't bring myself to replace the seats. They really don't need it but there is a couple minor tears on the front seats. They are just so unique and rare that I just didn't want to replace them or change them. I would just leave it and drive it like it is. Everything on the truck works and is as clean as can be inside and out. This Jeep is just a rare truck and is as clean as can be. You don't see many of these around and you don't have to do anything to it but just hop in it and drive.
