1979 Pontiac Firebird

Here is a nice 79 Redbird Esprit that will make a great project car. This is the right car to start with if you want to build a car and have it be a collectors. They didn't make to many of these Redbird Esprit's. This car does not have the motor but does have the transmission. This car overall is pretty clean and rust free I really hate to even consider parting it out but I'm getting cheap and need to move a few more cars. The exterior of this car is in good condition and is not all rusted like you see on a lot of these. It is bright red in color but as you can see the paint is a little weathered and faded. It might buff out and look great I just don't know and didn't have the time to try. The worst part I can say is on the roof where the paint is peeling and there is some minor surface rust other then that the body is straight as can be on this car. This car does have a sunroof which was a rare option on these. Also has the Factory Red Snowflake Wheels that are in great shape. The tires are pretty worn and should be replaced. Options: Automatic Transmission Sunroof Power Windows AM/FM Cassette The interior is in really good condition on this car. It has the matching red interior. The seats are in really great shape on this car. The front seats do show some wear and the passenger seat does have a couple rips. The back seats are in excellent shape and show almost no fading or wear. The carpets are in good shape but do show fading from the sun. It does have Power Windows, AM/FM Cassette, and Factory A/C. The interior is completely intact on this car and just needs a little TLC. This is just a nice, clean, straight car that just needs a motor and will make someone a great project car that once is done will be a rare classic car. The front seats have some wear and cracks. The carpets are faded. Paint peeling and some surface rust on roof. Tires need to be replaced at some point. Paint is faded. I am Not sure if it still has the wheels pictured on it, it may come with different wheels than pictured. This is a non running project car that is in need of restoration. The car does not come with the wheels and tires that are in the pictures. The car was a runner but has been sitting for awhile and not sure what it would take to get it running.
