1986 Chevrolet Blazer Here is a Project 86 Blazer M1009 CUCV Blazer. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Make sure and check out the Video below. This truck has the big 6.2L Diesel Engine and Automatic Transmission with 4WD. The whole system just like on all CUCV Blazers it has been converted to 24V. Takes two batteries but is more reliable and starts better. This truck does not currently run and we are not sure exactly what is wrong with it. When we got it the batteries cable had been cut and there is no batteries. It is being sold as a project truck for someone to tinker around on and get running and put back together. These trucks are awesome and thats why the Army used them they are reliable and built solid as can be. The exterior of the Truck is straight and clean. It is painted a teal in color with the white removable back roof. The paint is in good shape but is fading in some spots as you can see. It's not all beat up or dented up. They took really good care of it. It has the big Brush Guard on the Front with extra lights mounted in it. Has chrome steps to get in and out of easeier. This truck is also equipped with the tow package. Has a nice set of Aftermarket Steel Wheels that are white in color and a very nice set of BFGoodrich Tires that have very aggressive tread and are almost like new. Options: Automatic Transmission 6.2L Diesel 24V Conversion 4X4 Brush Guard Chrome Steps Tow Package The interior is in ok shape it just needs to be cleaned and put back together. The two front seats are a light grey cloth and they are in excellent shape. They show very little wear and don't have any rips or tears in them anywhere. The back seat is a dark brown vinyl material and is in the same great shape and barely looks like it was ever sat on. Has tan carpets that just has a couple small stains and one big one in the front. These are military vehicle so they don't have all the fancy options but do make up for it in other ways. This is a nice Project truck for someone that has the time to work on it and have a great truck when they are done. These are just really cool trucks that the Military used to use. They have a lot of power and will go just about anywhere. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting.
